New York Hotels Offer Valentine's Day Packages

Hotels throughout New York City are offering some nice packages for Valentine's Day next month. Here are just a few notable options:

At the Andaz Wall Street, the Valentine’s Day Weekend Package includes two nights (guests can choose from February 14, 15 or 16) with in-room champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries and in-room breakfast in bed for one of the mornings. In the hotel, they can unwind with a “Champagne Cream Side-by-Side Massage” (an hour-long treatment that includes aloe, green tea, avocado oil and shea and cocoa butters), or head outside for ice-skating at South Street Seaport. 

The Refinery, meanwhile, is offering two packages for its Rooftop bar on Valentine's Day. The Vueve Cliqout Valentine’s Day Package includes a bottle of the popular champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries for two and a jazz concert by Thana Alexa. Guests can also upgrade to the The Dom Perignon Valentine’s Day Package for a bottle of Dom and priority seating. (Cool touch: Both packages include access to a photo booth with one-way mirrors for guests to make their own mementos of the evening.)  

Adjacent hotels, The Court - A St Giles Premier Hotel and The Tuscany- A St Giles Luxury Hotel are offering three packages for couples to celebrate Valentine’s Day without leaving their hotel room. The Court’s “Sweet Treats” Package presents guests with a bottle of Mumm Napa Valley wine and chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival; and its “Flowers & Romance” Package includes a bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne, rose petals in the  room and chocolate-covered strawberries. The Tuscany’s “Breakfast In Bed” Package includes continental breakfast for two in bed along with mimosas.

The New York Palace (pictured below) is offering an “Ultimate Romance Package” that includes accommodations in the Jewel Suite by Martin Katz; private consultation with Katz himself for the creation of a custom-designed piece of diamond jewelry; and a customized six-course tasting for two in The Gallery at Villard Michel Richard. Good to know: The 5,000 square foot, triplex Jewel Suite has private, express elevators along with maître d’étage service, Maybach house car service and en-suite kitchens. If February is any warmer than January has been, guests can look out over the city from the spa installed on their private outdoor terrace. (Rates for the package begin at $50,000 per night, based on custom jewel pieces.)


 
The Quin is offering a package that includes a pickup in a Mercedes Benz S-class sedan, which will take guests to an exclusive showing at Bergdorf Goodman where they can examine jewelry not shown to the public from a private suite on Fifth Avenue with a glass of champagne. A good pick for jazz fans, this package also includes a private tour of the House of Swing at Jazz at Lincoln Center, including access to the Agnes Varis and Karl Leichtman Studio They can also unwind during a personalized in-room wine tasting (and keep the glasses as souvenirs), followed by a rose-petal turn-down and breakfast in bed the next day.
