There's a new entry in the New York suite game: the Dream Downtown has announced the debut of the GuestHouse, a duplex penthouse suite set atop the hotel's south tower.
Notable features include a garden terrace with glass-bottom Jacuzzi, furniture by Minotti, an oversized walk-in closet and dressing area, climate and entertainment technology by Savant Systems, as well as exclusive amenities, including a Vibes Curator, Sneaker Stylist, private barista and personal security guard.
For the walk-in closet, the hotel collaborated with celebrity hairstylists Franck Izquierdo, Leo Izquierdo, Aaron Grenia and Chase Kusero of the hotel’s recently launched IGK Salon, to design a custom vanity complete with champagne bar. In the living room, a built-in bookcase can fold out into a custom murphy bed, and a Savant home automation system offers control of music from any room in the suite via a dedicated mobile app. Two spiral staircases ascend to the suite's garden terrace, which is decorated with topiaries, a fireplace, outdoor shower and a glass-bottom Jacuzzi that can be seen from the living room below.
Other nice touches? The hotel's resident Vibes Curator will consult on party planning essentials, and the hotel's Sneaker Stylist offers access to limited-edition sneakers available for purchase. Additionally, a private barista will prepare and serve espressos and coffees personalized to each guest.
