NYC's SoHo Gets New MAMO Restaurant

MAMO NYCIf you're a fan of the French Riviera's Mamo Le Michelangelo, another opportunity just opened in New York City: a SoHo location of the 23-year-old eatery, dubbed simply MAMO, just made its debut.

Helming MAMO’s kitchen is Michelin-starred Chef Massimo Sola, formerly of Eataly Roma and Ristorante Quattro Mori. The menu serves recipes that are said to have been passed down by the Mammoliti family, which founded the French Riviera original. The NYC restaurant also has a hand-selected wine list with varieties from California, France and Italy, along with a signature cocktail list that includes an Italian Mule and a MAMO Negroni.

The restaurant’s design, conceived by Mammoliti and executed by Riscala Agnese Design Group, is meant to embody the feel of the original Mamo Le Michelangelo, which was built in what used to be a wine cellar of an old monastery.

MAMO is located at 323 West Broadway (between Grand and Canal Street) in New York City. Dinner is served Monday – Sunday, 5:00pm – Late. For reservations, please call 646-964-4641 or visit www.MAMOnyc.com for more information.
