Oceana Beach Club Hotel – Santa Monica Re-launched

JRK Hotel Group has announced the re-emergence of the beachfront Oceana Beach Club Hotel following a multi-million dollar renovation.

Oceana Beach Club Hotel now boasts a new lobby, reception area, pool deck and restaurant. American designer Anthony Baratta created a 1960s beach club vibe throughout the property, said to “capture a modern-day interpretation of Santa Monica sensibility”. Baratta brings more than 30 years of design experience to the hotel’s transformation, following residential projects in Los Angeles , South Beach and the Hamptons .

The tranquil beachside retreat features what was described as a “clean, sleek design and a playfully refined ambience” with the “natural elements of Santa Monica – sun, sea and sky – reflected with a soothing color palate of sea foam greens, pale blues and bright whites, accentuating ocean views”. The hotel’s dining area mixes natural materials and earthy tones, with retro elements.

Oceana Beach Club Hotel completes its transformation with the debut of Tower 8 by Two-Star Michelin Chef Josiah Citrin, known for Mélisse Restaurant. A Santa Monica native, Citrin brings a local sensibility to a menu. Guests can also enjoy signature cocktails created by renowned mixologist, Pablo Moix, and wine pairings by Melisse’s resident sommelier, Brian Kalliel, in Tower 8.

Additionally, Oceana Beach Club Hotel recently welcomed the arrival of Christoph Moje as GM.

The new Oceana Beach Club Hotel is luxury beachside property featuring 70 suite-style accommodations overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
