Papaya King Opens Western Outpost

Los Angeles just got a little grittier, we hear, with the transplant of a New York staple: Papaya King. This New York symbol opened its L.A. outpost just a block from the Walk of Fame bringing a little slice of the yellow and orange to the city of angels.

According to The New York Times, this is the first time in its 80-year history that Papaya King has gone West. It seems they are out to compete in the hot dog marketplace of L.A., which is already home to a slew of popular hot dog joints.
