This latest career venture comes after the opening of a series of beach-themed nightclubs in the Philippines, which has inspired the former Simple Life star to launch three new hotels in some of her favourite cities.

Paris is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, who founded the Hilton Hotels group. Her sister Nicky already operates properties under the Nicky O brand in Chicago  and Miami and it would seem Paris is now keen to follow in the family tradition. The Paris-branded hotels will not form part of the wider Hilton group.

Hilton filmed a reality television spin-off, Paris Hilton's Dubai BFF, in the popular UAE tourist destination in 2009. Since first appearing on The Simple Life with Nicole Ritchie more than a decade ago, Hilton, 35, has made in excess of $1.5bn with her fragrance line alone, and opened 50 Paris Hilton boutiques across the globe.

The original Paris Beach Club is part of the Azure Urban Resort Residence in Manila, and a second club of the same name has since opened in the city.

A launch date date for the hotels is yet to be announced.
