Paris’ Winter Offerings Launched

The Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau has announced its winter offerings through a series of campaigns supported by the Paris City Council, the Paris Chamber of Trade and Industry and Atout France.

As part of the Christmas shopping marketing campaign, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau will be giving a free Paris City Passport Shopping 2012. This passport entitles the holder to 10 % reductions in 70 shops. Nominative and valid for the three consecutive days, it is normally given to shoppers for free.

From January 1 to 31, 2013, the marketing campaign Shopping by Paris will be available. Some 200 partners of the Bureau will be taking part in this event. Among them, 190 tourist accommodation establishments will be offering special promotions of complimentary extras.

Hotels participating in the campaigns will offer complimentary breakfasts, upgrading, late departures, or providing of bottle of wine or champagne, cocktail or gift. These include the Royal Hôtel Paris, Hôtel Radisson Blu Ambassador, and Hôtel Récamier, among others.

Each year from the month of January, a copy of the Paris shopping book will be available from the bureau's tourist information points. This free bilingual French/English shopping guide suggests themed itineraries that combine fashion addresses with cultural and gourmet pauses.
