Looking to improve overall wellness in New York? Spa Nalai, Park Hyatt New York’s atelier spa, has partnered with yoga instructor and fitness expert Terri Bahr to offer a physical wellness experience through its new “Shanta Yoga” program. This initiative promotes "holistic strength, flexibility and healing" through both private yoga sessions as well as "intimate" group yoga classes to meet all individual needs.
Known for combining her fitness experience with a holistic wellness approach, Bahr is a certified Baptiste power vinyasa yoga teacher who has trained top yogis like Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn and Jonny Kest.
Private Yoga Instruction
As an extension of Spa Nalai’s focus on individual wellness needs, hotel guests and residents can book private yoga instruction sessions with Bahr at Park Hyatt New York’s three-story Fitness Center or Spa Living Room for $185 per person for a 60-minute session or $215 for a 90-minute session. Even cooler: Guests can also book private yoga sessions in their guest rooms for $200 per person for 60 minutes or $245 for a 90-minute session.
Group Yoga Class
Available throughout October, group yoga classes will take place Friday mornings from 7:00 am – 8:00 am. Good to know: These classes will accept a maximum of 10 participants at $50 per person located in Spa Nalai’s Living Room perched above midtown Manhattan.
Local guests wishing to participate in Spa Nalai’s Shanta Yoga program can purchase a private yoga session or group yoga class with the addition of a 60-minute or 90-minute Spa Nalai treatment.
