Luxury Travel Advisor magazine today named the 2011 winners of its prestigious Awards of Excellence. Honorees representing a range of travel products, including hotels, resorts, individuals, cruise lines and professional services, excel at delivering memorable experiences that help distinguish the luxury travel industry.
The advisory board, an invitation-only panel made up of influential travel advisors that have graced the cover of Luxury Travel Advisor, hand-selected each of the nominees across several categories. No outside submissions were accepted. Luxury Travel Advisor readers then voted exclusively to determine the winners. New for 2011, readers nominated their personal favorite in three Reader's Choice categories, including Best Restaurant in a Luxury Hotel/Resort Worldwide, Best Luxury Family Resort Worldwide and Top General Manager of a Luxury Hotel/Resort Worldwide.
