Nayara Hotel, Spa & Gardens

If your VIP clients are in need of a retreat that allows them to get back to nature in a truly posh and pampered style, we say look no further than Costa Rica’s Nayara Hotel, Spa & Gardens.

The property’s 44 bungalows are separated by tropical plants and natural scenery, creating private enclaves for each guest. Cool Touch: Each casita has views of the Arenal Volcano. We love the casitas’ outdoor showers and front balconies with private Jacuzzis for two (how romantic!).

The best rooms in the house are the two Nayara Villas, which have view of both the volcano and the rain forest, and are perfect for either families or couples. The villa is comprised of a Premium Suite and a Casita Suite, both of which have private balconies and Jacuzzis.

Nayara Villa not available? You cannot go wrong with one of the 15 Nayara Suites, which all have rainfall showers and private outdoor gardens.

Foodies will love the Altamira Restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with views of the volcano. Gourmet Tip: Try the churrasco skirt steak or the spice-rubbed grilled salmon.

Coming Soon: Nayara will have a sushi bar and lounge (to be called Sushi Amor) overlooking the volcano. The restaurant will serve a fusion of sushi and Latin American cuisine. At Nostalgia Wine Bar, guests can sample top-of-the-line Latin American wines. By next year, we hear that the bar will also have opened a new vodka- and tequila-tasting system.

The property recently completed the Nayara Spa, with four treatment rooms, two of which are open-air. The signature treatment is the Volcanic Mud Massage, a 45-minute ritual using indigenous ingredients.
