Canyon Ranch Appoints COO Thomas Klein to the Role of President

Wellness brand Canyon Ranch has announced that COO Thomas Klein will take on the additional role as president of Canyon Ranch. In this new role, Klein will continue to direct all operational aspects of the businesses, while also working with the senior leadership to grow the brand.

Klein comes into this position with 35 years in the hospitality industry. He was brought onto the Canyon Ranch team in April 2016 as COO.

“I joined this company 18 months ago looking for a new chapter with tremendous growth potential as well as the opportunity to impact the lives others and I have found that with Canyon Ranch,” said Klein in a written statement. “I am thrilled to take on this expanded role as this cherished and respected brand continues to prosper and evolve.”

In the same statement, CEO Susan E. Docherty, who brought Klein to Canyon Ranch, added, “Since coming on board, Tom has been instrumental in the seamless transition from a closely held family business to the thriving future of Canyon Ranch.”

In his time with Canyon Ranch, Klein has guided to brand to continue their mission to, "provide transformative wellness that enables people to live their fullest lives."

Outside of Canyon Ranch, Klein keeps health and wellness on the top of his mind. Most recently, he became an Advisory Board Member of the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures. He has remained actively involved in his communities as well, holding various positions on executive boards and numerous philanthropic organizations.
