One&Only Resorts has appointed Michele Giraudo as general manager, One&Only Portonovi in Montenegro. In this new position, Giraudo is tasked with opening the luxury resort, the first of the collection in Europe, and developing and leading the team.
Prior to joining One&Only Resorts, Giraudo worked with luxury resort brands throughout Asia and the South Pacific, including Six Senses, Aman and Relais & Châteaux. Giraudo is fluent in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
One&Only Portonovi will offer 113 guestrooms, suites and villas, along with 10 One&Only Private Homes. Features of the homes include a private beach and jetty, as well as secluded individual pools and internal Venetian private courtyards. Directly above the guestrooms is a wellness spa in partnership with Chenot.
Located on the west side of Montenegro, Portonovi less than an hour away by car from Dubrovnik, which is served by a variety of airlines. The airport can also hold private jets.
