St. Regis Bora Bora Royal Retreats

A trip to Bora Bora is regal in its own right, but if you want to raise the luxury bar on your next jaunt, book one of the Royal Retreat Villas at the St. Regis Bora Bora. These mini “royal estate” villas are significantly more spacious the standard floor plan.

What we love: The seven villas (five on water and two on land) feel like a garden oasis, set among palm fronds and have direct access to the beach. The villas are huge (the smallest is 2,000 square feet; the largest double that) and offer a larger separate lounge with daybed nook and bedroom with an adjoining bathroom. Cool Touch: The bathroom opens into a private walled-in garden with its own outdoor shower.

For a truly romantic escape, guests can dine on their own private stone terrace complete with dining gazebo and its own private (and surprisingly spacious) pool.
