Preferred Hotel Group Adds Five Hotels in London

Preferred Hotel Group, which consists of Preferred Hotel & Resorts and Preferred Boutique, added five different hotels in London, bringing the company’s total count to 13 properties in the city

The Stafford London (St. James’s): Located in St. James’s, which is minutes from Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly, this hotel was built as private residences in the 17th century and includes rooms precisely designed to supplement the original architecture, the American Bar, and a 350-year old underground Wine Cellar that’s valued at more than £600,000 and offers guests candlelit tours. 

The Beaumont Hotel (Mayfair): Opened earlier this month and located close to Oxford Street in Mayfair, this hotel features an Art Deco exterior, 73 rooms and suites inspired by the Prohibition-era in Manhattan, and its signature part-suite, part-sculpture called ROOM which is a modular piece by Sir Antony Gormley.  In addition, the Colony Grill Room, a residents-only gym, and a spa with Turkish baths all help make up the new hotel. 

Hotel Xenia (South Kensington):  Featuring 99 guest rooms, each with tablet computers, and located on Cromwell Road in South Kensington within walking distance of Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre and Kensington Olympia, this recently renovated boutique hotel includes two cocktail bars, an Italian restaurant, herb garden, and a private roof terrace with a cigar humidor. The Xenia Suite includes Victorian gallery windows, a private balcony, and an onyx stone Turkish bath.  

The Bentley London (Kensington): A five-star property with 64 rooms and suites, this hotel is located in the residential Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, close to Chelsea’s Kings Road and Harrods.  It also includes a Peridot brasserie that services daily traditional afternoon tea with fresh baked pastries, a cocktail lounge and a deluxe spa with a hammam.

The Exhibitionist (South Kensington): A restored 18th-century townhouse that’s across from Exhibition Road and institutions like the V&A Museum, Natural History Museum, and the Royal Albert Hall, this boutique hotels features 37 guest rooms that include iPads, as well as Luxury Rooms with private balconies and wet rooms, and Spa and Penthouse suites which include plunge pools and terrace with outdoor cinemas. It is set to open later this month and will be ultra-modern with an experimental cocktail lounge and eight art galleries.
