Priscilla Alexander Announces Retirement from Protravel International

Priscilla Alexander, president of Protravel International, has announced her official retirement from the company. Her leadership team remains in place with Chief Operating Officer Tony Shepherd now reporting directly to Travel Leaders Group CEO Barry Liben. 

Alexander, in an email to associates, said that, "Travel Leaders and I have made the joint decision that with the start of a new year it was the right time to make this change, effective immediately.  I have full confidence that with the established strength of the Protravel brand and the new leadership, this company will continue on a path of success." She added that she plans to use the time to pursue new ventures.

Alexander founded Protravel in 1984. It is headquartered in New York City, with annual sales reaching more than $850 million. It has grown into a network of 22 branch locations throughout the U.S. and London.
