Lettenbichler spent 24 years of his career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, while Reid was president of hotel operations, Americas, at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

While at Ritz-Carlton, Lettenbichler was a VP and responsible for South East Asia properties including Hong Kong, Greater China, Seoul and Japan as well as Bulgari Hotels & Resorts.

Steven Pan, chairman of Regent Hotels & Resorts, made the announcement.

Meanwhile, Auberge taps Reid during a stint of expansion having recently acquired Calistoga Ranch in Napa Valley, Calif., and added Malliouhana in Anguilla. In addition, the company recently announced that it secured a strategic investment from Friedkin Capital Partners to expand its presence internationally through new projects in the U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and Africa.

Auberge Resorts is a developer, operator and owner of boutique luxury resorts, residences and private clubs.

At Four Seasons, Reid oversaw a region of more than 40 hotels and resorts. He will report to current CEO and Founder Mark Harmon, who will assume the role of managing partner.

"Craig Reid’s experience, knowledge and relationships will be a game-changer for us," said Harmon. "His impressive career spanning all aspects of hotel development and management makes him exceptionally suited for this role. Craig represents the best of the best: not only is he a superb businessman at the height of his game, he is also highly respected for his leadership and character. I couldn’t be more pleased that he is joining our team."
