Give thanks this Thanksgiving week at the Viceroy Zihuatanejo during a “Way to Wellness” Week lead by Dr. Edward A. Taub, the developer of the resorts precedent-setting program.

Taking place on November 22, 25 and 26, Way to Wellness is a multi-faceted program designed to create happiness, health and wellness while on vacation for all of Viceroy Zihuatanejo guests. The program helps guests manage stress by guiding them to happiness, health and wellness via a more active, vibrant and rewarding lifestyle. Components of the program include mindful meditation, healing spa treatments, hatha and aqua yoga, exercise classes, sport and beach activities as. There will also be cooking classes emphasizing healthy cuisine like fresh fruits, veggies and fish served with sunset views, candlelit dining and uplifting music by the beach.

A special “Way to Wellness” package offers two guests the newly renovated Deluxe Room, complete with continental daily breakfast and a choice of two included activities per day. Activities include yoga and meditation, aqua yoga, stand up paddle boarding, stand up paddle board yoga, surfing classes, water sports like kayaking, canoeing, sailing a Hobie Cat, windsurfing, canoe excursions, tennis, spa treatments and healthy-cooking classes.

Lectures during the Way to Wellness Week will be led by Dr. Edward A. Taub, author of eight books on wellness and veteran lecturer of wellness symposiums. Dr. Taub is the leader of the Wellness Medical Institute, which oversees all staff training at Viceroy Zihuatanejo. Dr. Taub’s philosophy is simple: be a good person, be forgiving, take care of your body and take care of your mind.
