New Foodie Hotspots in London

Want some fancy food options in London? Here are some top spots to keep in mind...

In London's Mayfair neighborhood, Claridge’s has unveiled its new signature restaurant Fera, by Michelin-starred Chef Simon Rogan. We hear the name Fera, which means ‘wild’ in Latin, reflects the seasonal ingredients used in Rogan’s cooking...and that Rogan uses produce from his own farm in his recipes.

Even cooler: The restaurant has an open kitchen, which encourages guests to observe the cooking and interact with the chefs.

Foodies will also want to swing by The Berkeley, which recently unveiled “Marcus.” Formerly Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley, the two-Michelin star restaurant was reimagined following an extensive redesign.

The restaurant still serves modern fare, but we hear the new decor is "chic, inviting, and a departure from the formal dining experience."

And for a different kind of dining experience, check out Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium in Shoreditch. The cafe opened its doors earlier this year with 11 resident felines with whom guests can play for 5 pounds ($8.29) for two hours. Coffee and afternoon tea — sandwiches, cakes and scones — are on the menu for an additional fee.
