The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park Appoints New Director

Patrick Roy has been named as the new director of sales and marketing for The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park.

Bringing 19 years of experience, Roy joins The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park from The Conrad New York, where he initiated the opening strategies for the launch of their first luxury hotel in New York City. Roy also previously held the position of director of sales at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel – New York (2007-2011) and director of sales and marketing at the Millennium Hilton, New York (2005-2007).

The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park is a 259-room Mobil Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond hotel. The property boasts the first stateside La Prairie at The Ritz-Carlton Spa; and a new restaurant, Auden Bistro & Bar, offering bistro cuisine prepared by executive chef Mark Arnao.

Roy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Management & Tourism from the Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland and continued his studies in the US after receiving a Professional Studies Certificate from New York University.

Roy is an event committee member of the River 2 River Festival and an advisory board member of the Lower Manhattan publication, Downtown Magazine.
