The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Key Biscayne has completed a $2 million transformation this season, further enhancing the tropical oasis destination spa.
Led by internationally recognized, Coral Gables design firm Gettys, the 20,000-square-foot space welcomes guests to an updated arrival experience with a mosaic waterfall, modern gold fixtures and contemporary art displays. Wet areas, including Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room received the largest refresh incorporating a contrast of natural tones of custom mosaic murals. Salon and treatment rooms complement with a refresh of hues and furnishings.

As a full service spa and wellness center, the fitness center expands to include reception area with private day lockers, all new cardiovascular/weight equipment and a core/stretching action station. Monthly fitness calendar offers indoor and outdoor classes for both guests and local. On the nights of the Full Moon, guests can go for a spinning work out or relax with yoga on the resort’s Grand Lawn. “Spin Stars” provide ice cold towels, refresh water and cool down spinners with spritzes of water. Spa director, David Bremer, is also debuting a contemporary new spa menu that caters to men, women and expectant mothers, including treatments such as the Signature Tropical Paradise Hydrating Wrap, Piña Colada Body Polisher and Island Escape package. Fresh signature nails services allow guests to create a unique and personalized experience from a menu of scents, ingredients and new vegan nail polish.
