European Waterways recently announced the newest addition to its fleet of vessels: the Finesse hotel barge, which will set sail on the River Saone and Canal du Centre in Southern Burgundy beginning May 2016.
The double-decker Finesse can accommodate up to eight passengers. The barge will include a staff of five, as well as a personal gourmet chef. The all-inclusive amenities will also feature a sun deck, a spa pool, and other luxury options. The new cruise will also offer land excursions like cycling, hiking, and visiting nearby vineyards and food markets. Guests will also have the option to visit Paray-le-Monial, a riverside town housing a 12th Century basilica. Cabin rates will begin at $6,290 per person, based on double occupancy, and charters will begin at $43,200.
European Waterways is celebrating the launch by offering a 10 percent off cabin and boat charter deal for guests traveling in June. This offer is good until August 31, 2015.
