Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Roselle Roces as its new regional director of sales in for the travel industry. Roces will be overseeing sales in the North Eastern United States as well as Eastern Canada.
Most recently, Roces held the position of global account director at Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, where she also covered North America with a focus on a variety of travel industry facets.
Before graduating from New York’s Berkley College, Roces was already working with Intercontinental Hotels. Roces’ career in sales began at the Jumeirah Essex House in New York before she moved on to a regional role at Ritz-Carlton where she oversaw the New York City hotels as senior area manager of business travel and leisure sales.
“We are delighted that Roselle will be part of Rosewood’s global sales team,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Her extensive network of contacts and in depth knowledge of the luxury travel industry will be an invaluable asset to Rosewood as we continue our ambitious global expansion.”
Roces joins the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts brand during a time of expansion, as the company is planning to double its number of hotels in operation by 2020, with 17 new hotels currently under development. To date, Rosewood manages 18 luxury properties across 11 different countries.
