Kim Daley, VP and MD of Journese, has been promoted to SVP of sales strategy for all of Pleasant Holidays. Amy Comparato, Journese’s brand director, will expand her role with Journese and now oversees day-to-day management of sales, marketing, e-commerce and relationship management with key travel agency partners in the luxury travel segment.

The Setai, Miami Beach named Celyta Jackson ([email protected]) as its new director of sales. Past gigs include the City of New York; The Plaza Hotel; The U.S. Trade and Development Agency and The Qatar Foundation.

The Colony Hotel, a hub of Palm Beach society, is closing Sept. 2 for a multi-million dollar update; it will re-open Oct. 10, 2014, with new suite designs, flat-screen TVs and Bluetooth-enabled telephones with built-in chargers.

We hear the Capri Hotel in Southampton, N.Y., hot with such celebrities as Robert De Niro and Howard Stern, is reportedly on the market for $5.2 million. A group headed by Steven Kamali has put the 30-room hotel up for sale, reports The Daily News.
