Journese Launches New Cancellation & Commission Protection Plan

Journese announced the launch of its new Cancel for Any Reason trip protection plan coverage, offering travelers two plan choices: A cash back option and one providing travel credit vouchers. Both plans include a 100 percent commission protection for travel advisors.

Travelers have up to seven days after initial deposit to choose their preferred trip protection plan, either the cash back option, which provides refunds in the form of the original payment; or the new, lower-priced voucher option, which provides a travel credit that can be applied to the client’s next Journese vacation.

New features of the Journese Cancel for Any Reason protection coverage include:

  • Cancellations for any reason
  • No claim forms for cancellations prior to travel
  • Every booking with a trip protection plan automatically receives benefits when canceled in full prior to travel
  • Travel advisors enjoy 100 percent commission protection with the purchase of any trip protection plan option

In addition, travelers can enjoy pre-travel benefits, such as price protection and change coverage, with the plan covering a one-time change or cancellation. Travelers also receive numerous post-departure benefits, including trip interruption coverage, a pre-existing medical condition exclusion waiver, baggage delay coverage, trip delay coverage, one-call 24-hour worldwide and travel assistance services. The new protection plans are not valid for cruise vacation bookings.

Journese also offers Cruise Protection Plan Plus for its worldwide cruise portfolio, offering cash back and 100 percent commission protection when the booking is cancelled for a covered reason. Cruises, including U.S. river cruises on American Queen Steamboat Company, Paul Gauguin Tahiti Cruises, Scenic Luxury Europe River Cruises, UnCruise Adventures, and Victory Cruise Lines can be booked with the Journese Cruise Desk.
