Questex LLC Launches Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Trendsetters

NEW YORK (March 6, 2017) ─ Questex Travel Group today announced the launch of its newest event Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Trendsetters, a sister to the uber-successful ULTRA Summit.

“Attending advisors are the industry’s next wave of innovators who define themselves by getting out into the marketplace and immersing themselves in destinations and technology, rather than sitting behind a desk in more traditional settings,” said John McMahon, Questex Travel Group’s executive vice president and publisher of Luxury Travel Advisor.

“These trendsetting advisors are trailblazers rather than order takers,” said McMahon, “By attending this event, these advisors will connect with like-minded luxury travel brands that are changing the archetype of modern luxury travel.”

This emerging sector of advisors was recently featured on the cover of Luxury Travel Advisor’s December issue where authors asked agency owners who graced previous covers to nominate trendsetting advisors from their agencies.  In the end 45 advisors were profiled, all of who will be invited to attend the event.

Luxury travel suppliers will run the gamut and will include five-star and above hotels and resorts, cruise lines, destination management companies, spas, airlines, transportation providers, and professional services.

Luxury Travel Advisor’s ULTRA Trendsetters will debut September 17-19, 2017 at The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas, one of the country’s trendiest cities at the moment.  Intimate one-to-one appointments will be intermixed with lively panels, engaging presentations and discussions, elegant networking functions, and thought-provoking educational content.
