Hotel Zelos, Hotel Zeppelin, Hotel Zetta and Hotel Emblem, all part of the Viceroy Urban Retreats portfolio, are collaborating with Wag!, an on-demand mobile dog-walking and dog-care service, to offer these services for guests and their animal companions staying at the properties.
The new pet package, available at all four San Francisco-based hotels, includes Wag!’s on-demand dog-walking, which is coordinated between Wag!’s technology platform and the hotel’s concierge. Dogs are walked individually for a one-on-one experience. If a guest brings multiple pets, Wag! will walk them together per request. Note: The service does not cater to other animals.
Via this partnership, guests will receive a 15 percent discount off Wag! services and can choose to have their pets picked up and dropped off in their hotel lobby or directly to and from their room.
In addition, when guests confirm a stay with their pet, they will receive a map showcasing the area’s best pet-friendly parks, restaurants and bakeries, along with grooming services, gyms, stores and day spas specifically created for animals.
Guests also receive a Viceroy Urban Retreat-branded bed, along with water and food bowls when they bring their pets to the properties.
In other Viceroy Hotels and Resorts news, Viceroy Da Nang Vietnam is slated to launch in 2020. A written release says this is the company's "first foray into Asia's most highly anticipated market, which is being created from the ground up."
