Hot Hotels: Park Hyatt St Kitts to Open Soon

One of the most hotly anticipated resorts of the year, Park Hyatt St. Kitts is expected to make its debut by the end of 2016. (The official website, though, is taking reservations starting in March 2017.) This will be the first luxury resort on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts, situated on a beach overlooking The Narrows, the strait separating St. Kitts and Nevis.

The five-star resort will have 126 contemporary-style guest rooms, each equipped with a private balcony or terrace, including some suites with private rooftop pools. There will also be a three-bedroom presidential villa with an infinity pool, gym and games room.

From the beach, guests will be able to partake in a number of non-motorized watersports, and the 24-hour health club will offer yoga and meditation classes. It will be possible to indulge in outdoor spa treatments at the Park Hyatt Spa, which will have nine treatment rooms. Other facilities include two outdoor pools, the stylish Rum Bar, and restaurants like The Fisherman's Village. The resort is also expected to stage destination weddings and corporate events, with 7,000 square feet of meetings and event space.
