On the 18-day trips, which begin in November 2015, guests will sail roundtrip from Ushuaia on the Silver Explorer and will enjoy walking or boating excursions to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, Elephant Island, and the Antarctic Peninsula. Amenities include gourmet food, wine and spirits, a personal butler, and all Zodiac transportation. The Shackleton Voyage will depart November 14, 2015, and January 3, February 2, and December 22, 2016.

Guests onboard the Silver Explorer will be able to discover the historical and wildlife experiences that Shackleton and his crew encountered. An on-deck exhibition, hosted by the Royal Geographical Society, will give guests the opportunity to see original copies of artifacts and images taken by the Endurance’s photographer, Frank Hurley.

Travelers will also have the ability to extend their adventure to London, England, where the Royal Geographical Society will be showing its exhibition, “The Enduring Eye: The Antarctic Legacy of Sir Ernest Shackleton and Frank Hurley.” Silversea Expeditions will give guests VIP tickets to this exhibition. Trips to the Royal Geographical Society in London can be arranged before or after voyages on the Silver Explorer.
