All guestrooms got new design touches ((think parchment-and-ink graphic wallpaper depicting George Washington's handwritten inaugural address and custom accent pillows based on his uniform), but we say the Presidential Suite sounds especially nice: It has a separate sitting area with custom impressionist-style portraits of George and Martha Washington, a modern take on a traditional four-poster king bed and a new free-standing soaking tub and marble shower with dual curved black marble vanities.
Good to know for families: The George has added new pull-out sofa beds to several oversized queen and king guest rooms.
