Sofitel New York Announces the Second Series of Rendez-Vous Littéraire

Sofitel New York has announced that they will be hosting the second season of Rendez-Vous Littéraires, a series of intimate conversations with well-known French authors at the hotel’s brasserie and bar Gaby Brasserie Française. The series is set to return on Tuesday, October 25th from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Oliver Barrot, a French journalist and TV5 Monde Personality will return as the host of the French series. Tickets are $25 and include wine, hors d’oeuvres and a book signed by the author. Ribes is a playwright, actor, filmmaker and screenwriter, as well as the managing director of the Théâtre du Rond-Point in Paris.

Mabanckou is currently a teacher at UCLA and the College de France, he is best known for his work on contemporary life in Africa and the African population living in France.

Enthoven is a French philosopher and instructor who is well know for his radio and tv programs.

Tuesday, April 18, 2017 – Maryline Desbiolles

Desbiolles is known for her poems, short stories and other assorted works, most recently she published a delicate portrait of Maure Jaubert, a famous French composer.
