Solage Calistoga, located in Calistoga, CA, will undergo a $2.3 million dollar renovation. The renovation will begin on January 4, and the hotel plans to reopen to guests on January 23, 2015. The renovation will be focused on Solage’s spa and the Michelin star-rated restaurant, Solbar.
“It’s our mission to constantly improve our offerings and give our guests exciting reasons to return time and time again. In 2015, we’re thrilled to add a refreshed yet comfortable interior to the Solbar dining room and a new co-ed Relaxation Room at Spa Solage,” said Richard Hill, president of Solage Hotels & Resorts.
Both of these new spaces will be designed by San Francisco-based interior design company, Robinson Finishes.
The spa will be enlarged by 3,000 square feet, and in addition to the co-ed room it will include two outdoor showers and a general improvements. Spa expert Helen Brown is the new spa executive director, and she will oversee the redesign.
The dining room of Solbar will have a more intimate feel after custom-built partition walls are put into place. The walls will be made of reclaimed wood and will include large windows. Solbar will also be able to serve twice as many guests outside with the addition of a new patio.
