The Stafford London at St. James Place will be celebrating this year’s holiday season with 100 Christmas trees, midnight mass at The Guards Chapel and more.
During Christmas Eve guests are invited to sing carols while enjoying mulled cider and, of course, roasted chestnuts. Then on Christmas day a celebratory feast will be served and the Ceremony of Christmas Pudding, which traditionally each family member helps make by taking turns stirring the mix will occur. The Stafford London will then play the annual Christmas speech made by the Queen.
On New Year’s Eve 2014 The Stafford London will be holding a reception followed by dinner at Lyttelton Restaurant, home of head chef Carlos Martinez. The chef’s menu for New Year’s Eve includes white truffle risotto, beef wellington and a clementine sorbet.
The Stafford London is offering a Christmas package, which includes an English breakfast, afternoon tea and mulled wine. Rooms start at about $560 per night.
