The Stafford London Provides Walking Tour of the St. James Neighborhood (SLIDESHOW)

The Stafford London is offering a new walking tour of the St. James neighborhood, including Piccadilly Circus, Green Park, Trafalgar Square and, of course, Buckingham Palace. The St. James area has also been home to famous individuals, including Sir Winston Churchill and Frederic Chopin.

Guests will follow the hotel’s executive concierge, Frank Laino, as he takes them on a tour of the neighborhood. The tour starts at St. James Palace and the Spencer House, which is a private residence of Lord Rothschild. Guests will be able to get a look inside the ground floor of this historic home with Laino’s exclusive access. The private tour continues on to Green Park, Buckingham Palace, St. James Palace and the Clarence House, home to Charles Prince of Wales and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall. This three-hour tour also includes a look at Queen Alexandra’s memorial, the oldest hat shop in the world, art galleries, coin shops and antique bookstores.

To round out the experience, tour-goers will be invited to the London Library, which houses more than one million volumes of work. Next, it’s off to Red Lion, a Victorian style pub. Laino will lead guests to the St. James Church and down Jermyn Street before circling back to the hotel.

Tours begin November 27, 2014.
