Six Senses Spa to Open in Almaty, Kazakhstan

Good news for spa fans in Central Asia: Six Senses Spa has opened its first spa in the region at the 37-story Esentai Tower in Almaty, Kazakhstan

The Six Senses Spa at Esentai Tower is located on the 20th floor of the highrise building. Here's what makes it unique: Rather than offering a respite from the urban buzz, serves as a mirror the different energies of the city life: Moods can range from the sensory stimulation and movement of the street to the stillness and calm of a quiet cafe or park. At the spa, calm and silent areas flow into more lively and vibrant ones, offering both relaxation and energizing moods to suit guests' needs.

The spa has five treatment rooms that look out over Almaty. Facilities include hammams, saunas, steam and experience showers, as well as a fitness center and a studio for wellness activities.

The spa menu includes Six Senses’ signature treatments and a range of NANNIC innovative face and body therapies that (we hear) use radio frequencies and highly concentrated serums. (These are supposed to deliver "immediate firming and lifting results." We want to try them and see for ourselves if they work.)

The spa’s relaxation pods have mood lighting and a calming water fountain mirrored across the room to enhance the post-treatment renewal process. This, coupled with soft music and Six Senses signature teas, offers a nice way to unwind after a restorative treatment or rejuvenating wellness journey.

Touted as one of the tallest buildings in Central Asia, Esentai Tower is part of the Capital Partners’ Esentai Park development, which also includes The Ritz-Carlton, Almaty, a shopping center and residential complexes.
