Caribbean hideaway and St. Lucia’s luxurious Stonefield Estate Resort has announced its latest offering. Starting from December 21, and valid until January 4, 2013, the property is offering guests a seventh night free when staying at its luxurious accommodations.
Nestled at the base of the Pitons in St. Lucia, Stonefield’s tropical location is said to “give families the opportunity to unwind and relax and spend quality time together”. The resort’s villas include open verandas; jalousie shutters; antique four posters beds; fully equipped kitchens; private plunge pools; outdoor showers; locking safes; ironing boards and irons; telephones; iPod docks; and hammocks.
Meanwhile, onsite amenities include: a new 860-square-foot yoga studio equipped with tatami mats for martial arts and yoga; Bamboo Door Spa, which offers massages; tropical gardens; and an air-conditioned gym equipped with Cybex cardio equipment, free weights and multi gym machines.
The property is also home to Mango Tree Restaurant, which includes an al fresco dining pavilion that looks out onto the ocean and the Pitons.
After spending a couple days relaxing at the resort and reconnecting, families can venture off site and enjoy various excursions, including visiting the colonial town of Soufriere; diving in the Caribbean Sea; sightseeing tours of sulphur springs and baths; and horseback riding through a local cocoa plantation.
