Come August 1, Le Richemond Hotel, a prestigious Geneva address since 1875, will be operated by the Dorchester Collection in the company’s first third-party management agreement. Overlooking Lake Geneva’s Jet d’Eau with the snow-capped Alps as a backdrop, Le Richemond is one of the top hotels in town, with an indulgent spa and destination restaurant. As part of the Rocco Forte Collection, the hotel completed a renovation in 2007 which updated the interiors with a bold, contemporary aesthetic. When the Dorchester Collection takes over management, the hotel will again get a makeover. The public areas and suites will undergo a refurbishment, and “any guest disruption will be minimized.”
Francois Delahaye, Dorchester Collection's Chief Operating Officer, will be responsible for the property as it transitions into the Dorchester Collection brand. Le Richemond is in good company; the luxury hotel joins the likes of The Beverly Hills Hotel, The Dorchester, Le Meurice and Hotel Plaza Athénée (Paris).
