There’s been a lot of buzz about the new W Verbier, the first ski resort for the brand, opening in the Swiss Alps on December 1. (Check out our preview photos here.) With a killer location next to the main gondola, the resort will cater to guests' wishes with W’s signature Whatever/Whenever service. But that’s not the only reason the hotel is making headlines. The W Verbier has launched a DJ competition to recruit the resident DJ who will spice up the winter season at the “hottest new destination in the Swiss Alps.”
European entrants can submit a link to an original track or video before the competition closes for entries on September 30, 2013. The shortlisted DJ finalists will then be invited to the W London-Leicester Square for three nights of revelry, spinning their tracks in front of a panel of judges. The final three will perform at the battle of the DJs on November 9.
