Taj Boston Offers Wood Menu for Fireplace Suites

Fall is finally here, and the Taj Boston has a swank new way to warm up as the temperatures drop. In one of the hotel's 42 Fireside Suites, guests can unwind next to a wood-burning fire (complete with a Fireplace Butler to build and get the blaze going) from now until April 1, 2014.

There's even a fireplace wood menu. Here are the options that will help set any mood:
Birch Wood: Birch produces a strong heat and burns quickly, creating a warm and cozy interlude.
Cherry Wood: Fragrant and slow burning, the glowing colors from this fire pairs nicely with any in-room dining experience
Oak Wood: A lightly scented, long-burning wood, oak creates a warm and comforting atmosphere for a long winter’s night
Maple Wood: The sweet aroma of maple evokes the essence of a New England winter
Taj Blend: An off-the-menu proprietary combination of woods for a decidedly aromatic fire

Bonus: Those who stay an additional night will get 50 percent off the second night and complimentary daily breakfast for two. Other perks include:
High speed wired or wireless Internet access
Two daily garment pressings
Daily continental breakfast for two
Dine in The Café with views of Newbury Street. On weekends, guests can try a traditional high tea service for both children and adults. Alternately, unwind over fireside cocktails in The Bar, the hotel’s club-style lounge with windows over Arlington Street that afford Boston’s best people-watching.
