Tel Aviv to Open New Boutique Hotel

Tel Aviv is setting itself up for a new hot spot. We hear a new and sophisticated boutique hotel will open its doors on October 15.

The Normal Hotel Tel Aviv will be housed in two converted historic 1920s buildings just off Rothschild Boulevard in King Albert Square. The Norman features 30 bedrooms and 20 suites, including two expansive penthouse duplex suites (with wraparound terraces, of course).

Cool touch: Comprised of two historic buildings. architect Yoav Messer designed The Norman to preserve the original structures, one of which is a Bauhaus building, while preserving original materials throughout the hotel, such as original floor tiles and wall stenciling that was uncovered in the renovation. The Bauhaus strutter on the property houses a private guest suite upstairs with terraces and a private dining room downstairs available for private hire.

Suites located in an adjoining building have private terraces, freestanding baths, king-sized beds, access to a private citrus garden and a communal library.

There will bet wo restaurants: a brasserie serving Mediterranean cuisine, plus a Japanese restaurant with a live sushi counter and a view across the city from the rooftop terrace. Guests can use the Library bar off the lobby to unwind with a late night cocktail.

There is also a spa and rooftop infinity pool.
