We've heard that luxury lifestyle brand akyra is vaulting into business this summer with its inaugural property, akyra Chura Samui, opening on the lush island of Koh Samui in Thailand.
Poised to open its doors to guests this June, the new tropical property will offer 62 suites and rooms and is located on Koh Samui’s Chaweng Beach.
The 62 suites and rooms will offer understated elegance coupled with Asian-chic design and a-list amenities including high-cotton-count linen, exclusive Spa IV products, and a distinctive in-room dining experience.
akyra Chura Samui showcases a spa, which includes facilities such as his and hers meditation rooms, exclusive Spa IV amenities, beachfront Japanese and international dining, free Wi-Fi throughout the resort, tai chi and yoga classes, a library and a decidedly stylish Galleria boutique.
The resort’s also celebrates international cuisine two beachfront restaurants and bars. Guests can choose between Japanese eats from the renowned Bangkok-based Sui Kin Restaurant or South American-style grilled seafood and steaks at the resort’s beachside Barracuda Bar & Grill.
Launching the brand are the people behind the Aleenta Resorts and Spas Thailand, led by founder and managing director Anchalika Kijkanakorn.
