There's a New Napa Tasting Center…in Charleston

wineFamed Napa vineyard Mira Winery has announced the opening of the Napa Valley Education Center and Tasting Room (NVEC) in Charleston, SC.

The NVEC is open weekly Wednesday through Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and will provide educational and tasting programs including interactive displays, wine club member EduTastings, videos and a series of classes.

EduTastings are a private educational wine tasting available at no cost to Wine Club Members. They take place on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. and by appointment. Space is limited to the first 12 Wine Club Members to sign up for each tasting.

Additionally, the NVEC plans to announce an Educational Series that will delve more deeply into the world of wine, including identifying wine faults, understanding terroir and an in-depth analysis of the Napa Valley and its subregions. A Distinguished Speaker Series will bring high profile members of the wine industry to Charleston to share their experiences and knowledge. The first Distinguished Speaker Series will take place during the Education Center’s Grand Opening in early March.
