Oceania Cruises has announced that Bob Prieto, Ana Parodi and Lisette Thurman have been promoted into key roles on its sales team.
Bob Prieto has been promoted to vice president of field sales. In his new role, Prieto will lead a team of 15 regional sales directors and oversee the trade event management team. Prieto has 25 years of industry experience and has spent the past 10 years leading Oceania Cruises’ Sales Resource Center with a team of account executives and business development managers dedicated to assisting travel partners through training, online resources and marketing aspects. Prior to joining Oceania Cruises, Prieto held sales positions with Certified Vacations and Norwegian Cruise Line.
Drawing on her more than 27 years’ experience in the cruise industry, Ana Parodi has been promoted to vice president of national accounts for Oceania Cruises. Parodi joined Oceania Cruises in March of 2010 and most recently served as senior director of key accounts. Prior to that, she held sales positions with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line, that covered a wide array of sales roles including field sales, national/strategic account management and strategic partnerships.
Lisette Thurman has been named the new director of key accounts. In this role, she will foster and strengthen relationships with top producing travel agencies. Thurman has been with Regent Seven Seas Cruises for more than eight years, most recently as senior account executive. Prior to that, she held positions with Club Med, Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Lines.
