African Travel Inc. is unveiling a new handcrafted itinerary: South Africa in Ultimate Luxury.
The journey begins in Cape Town at the five-star Silo Hotel located in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. The property itself is situated six floors above the Zeitz MOCAA. Here, travelers can hop on a locally guided tour or ride a cable car to the top of Table Mountain, visit the Bo-Kaap neighborhood with its rich multi-cultural history, and bargain at Greenmarket Square.
A Cape Peninsula Tour may show how the area came to be known at “The Fairest Cape.” Travelers can also ride the Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse before moving along the coast to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Then, they can travel down the naval village of Simon’s Town to get back to the city. From Cape Town, travelers can take a quick ride to the winelands, where they can learn about wine production.
When travelers arrive at Saseka Tented Camp set within the 14,000-hectare Thornybush Nature Reserve, they can sip on a cup of tea and venture on an afternoon game drive to witness the more evasive nocturnal species. Travelers head back to camp for dinner and an evening around the fireplace. Saseka is the newest luxury camp from the Thornybush Collection situated on the banks of the Monwana River and adjacent to Kruger National Park. Game viewing opportunities are available through private decks in tented suites.
Good to know: Guests who book this itinerary by July 31, 2019 for travel ending by December 4, 2019 will receive a complimentary visit to Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA), a Cape Peninsula tour and a Cape Winelands tour.
