Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti Announces New Itinerary

Travelers can now explore all the Serengeti has to offer with all the comfort of luxury properties thanks to the new Seven Days in the Serengeti itinerary from the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti.

The itinerary includes a number of various game drives not far from the Four Seasons Safari Lodge, which is centrally located to a number of game drive locations. To complement the game drives, the itinerary also includes a number of shorter excursions to ensure guests have leisure time on their own.

Other activities included in the itinerary include a day trip to the Ngorongoro Crater, learning the history of the Maasai paintings at Gong Rock in the grasslands of Moru Kopjes and a guided walking safari.

To accommodate seasonal movements and the Great Migration, the Seven Days in the Serengeti itinerary is tailored to focus on the best wildlife sightings depending on what time of year guests are visiting the lodge and what animals will be nearby during that particular season. The lodge also offers flexibility in amending orders or locations of excursions to better suit guest requests. On-site reservations specialists will be available to customize itineraries according to guest preference and time of stay.

Good to know: spend the morning waking up in a sunrise hot-air balloon flight over the Serengeti. Flights last approximately one hour and are followed by a champagne bush breakfast.

Martin Cody, general manager of the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti recently made a statement on the new itinerary and lodge amenities. "What this itinerary offers is the opportunity to experience as many spectacular wildlife sightings as possible from our central Serengeti location, while maximizing on quality relaxation time. The Lodge has such a variety of leisure activities to be enjoyed and many of our guests simply wish to spend an afternoon by our infinity pool overlooking the animal watering hole, to rejuvenate at the Spa or to learn about the wildlife they have seen in our interactive Discovery Centre."

Cody continued the idea, saying, “"The excitement of a safari vacation is shared by all who visit this region, yet due to the nature of the early morning starts and long drives, it can be hard to find the balance of seeing everything that you wish to see, while still having some time to simply enjoy being on vacation and to appreciate the beauty of your surroundings.”
