Literary Luncheon Series at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel

View of NYC from the Empire State BuildingThe Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel announces a new literary luncheon series, “In Conversation at The Carlyle.” Hosted in conjunction with Random House Publishing, the literary luncheon series consists of three separate events where attending guests enjoy a meal in the upscale New York City hotel, followed by a literary discussion with a prestigious author.

Each of the three events will begin with a three-course luncheon in The Carlyle Restaurant at 12:30 p.m. After lunch, guests will move into the Café Carlyle for an intimate discussion with each author. The price per event is $125 per person (including tax and gratuity). For this cost, guests are treated to a three-course price fixed menu, one glass of wine, and a signed copy of the presenting author’s latest book.

Renowned author, Dr. Maya Angelou will be the featured author of this spring’s first event on Monday, April 1. The second literary luncheon will be hosted by Pulitzer Prize winner, Anna Quindlen, on Tuesday, May 7. The third and final event of the series will be held by best-selling author Curtis Sittenfeld on Thursday, June 27.
