Micato Safaris introduced a four-day safari that takes guests along Namibia’s Skeleton Coast and includes a two-night stay at the new Shipwreck Lodge.

On the new Skeleton Coast safari, guests drive through the Namib sand dunes, go to local shipwrecks, visit the Mowe Bay seal colony and possibly see rare plants and animals, such as the desert elephant. Travelers can combine the four-day safari with the company’s other Namibia trips, such as a tour of the giant sand dunes in Sossusvlei and game viewing in Etosha National Park.

Micato’s itinerary includes two nights at the new Shipwreck Lodge. The architects designed each of the 10 units after one of the nearby shipwrecks. Also along the journey, guests will visit the boutique hotel Olive Exclusive in the city Windhoek.

Operating for over 50 years, Micato Safaris operates safari trips in east Africa, southern Africa and India. In Africa, Micato offers gorilla trekking in Rwanda, visits to Victoria Falls in Zambia, tours of Cape Winelands and a variety of other safaris in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania.
