The Peninsula Hotels has launched their latest Peninsula Academy programs for the spring. Focusing on "The Art of Hospitality," the luxury brand's tours at its nine hotels throughout the world will feature customized insider art experiences alongside the insider access the brand is known for.
Over the course of two to four hours, each tour gives visitors the opportunity to get to know the region as a local as well as what distinguishes the area on the world stage. On the Chicago Film Tour, visit 30 sites where more than 50 movies were shot, including The Dark Knight and The Fugitive to Ferris Bueller's Day Off and North by Northwest. Opt for the pre-set tour or decide upon locations based on movie preferences. At each site, see the scenes on the small screen then discover it first-hand.
Among our favorites is the tour, Our Hong Kong in Nature. After winding up Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong's highest mountain, sit down to tea brewed from mountain water at a rural tea house, led by a personal guide toward The Yuen Yuen Institute, a Taoist temple built in the 1950s. Other properties include locations in New York, Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo, in addition to Manila, Bangkok, Beverly Hills.
