If you like green and luxury—General Motors is coming out with the car for you. Word is the carmaker will go forward with plans to build a production model of an electric Cadillac luxury coupe. The new luxury version of the Volt will be called the Cadillac ELR.
Already in development, a lithium-ion battery, electric drive unit and four-cylinder engine generator comparable to the Chevy Volt will power the the car and reduce emissions and fuel costs.
