How's this for a celeb sighting? We hear Sir Richard Branson (of the Virgin Group empire) kicked off Virgin Atlantic's direct service from London to Cancun with an all-out bash at Royal Hideaway Playacar.

The luxury all-inclusive resort's Managing Director, Jean Agarrista, welcomed Branson after the inaugural flight.

Royal Hideaway Playacar is just 45 minutes from Cancun International AIrport. It offers 200 guest rooms including 184 luxury rooms, eight Royal View rooms, six Duplex Junior Suites and two Presidential Suites with private Jacuzzis. Guests can treat themselves to the fitness center, basketball, bocce ball, horseshoes, tennis, sailing, cooking classics, kayaking, windsurfing and more (all part of the all-inclusive fun).
