Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to Head to Scandinavia

The Venice Simplon-Orient-Express (VSOE) will launch a series of new rail voyages to Scandinavia next year, visiting Stockholm (pictured) for the first time in its history.

The two-night trip will depart from Venice on April 8, 2013, and will stop overnight in Copenhagen. The route will cover Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Germany before heading via Copenhagen to Stockholm

The return journey will depart Stockholm on April 12, 2013, again via an overnight stop in Copenhagen.

Bonus: Guests will begin their journey with a two-night stay at Venice's Hotel Cipriani.
